Healthy Neighborhood Program

The Oneida County Health Department has been awaded a grant through the New York State Dept of Health for the Healthy Neighborhoods Program. The goal of the project is to conduct basic home, health, and safety surveys and to provide valuble information and free products to help keep individuals and there families safe and healthy.The service is available to both home owners and tenants regardless of income.


Theprogram is currently in the South central Rome area, but the towns and villages of Annsville, Ava, Boonville, Blossvale, Durhamville, Florence, Lee, Lee Center, Sylvan Beach, Taberg, Vernon, Verona, Vienna, Western, Westernville, and Westmoreland are also in the target area
