Mohawk Valley Association of Realtors Celebrates 100 Years

Date:

In 1915 the Utica Board of Realtors became a member of the National association of Realtors. Over the next 100 years the Utica board of Realtors merged with the Herkimer board of Realtors and the Rome Board of Realtors, forming what was then called the Greater Utica Rome Board of Realtors.

In 2013 the name was changed to the Mohawk Valley Association of Realtors or also known as MVAR. The change was made to better designate the area as being much more than just the two great cites of Utica and Rome.

Over the course of the year we will be conducting informational seminars and events through out the area, working with the general public to help us celebrate our 100th Year Milestone.
